# PCB Handoff Checklist

Use this checklist when reviewing the ESP32 wearable haptic controller board boundary.

- Keep the motor current loop short: VBAT connector, motor load, MOSFET drain/source, and ground return.
- Place local decoupling near the motor/supply connector.
- Keep the MOSFET gate trace away from noisy motor current paths.
- Use a gate pulldown so the motor remains off during reset or GPIO high impedance.
- Verify the flyback diode orientation: anode at MOSFET drain/motor low side, cathode at VBAT.
- Separate noisy motor return current from sensitive ESP32 ground references where practical.
- Confirm MOSFET gate threshold is not confused with fully enhanced Rds(on) behavior.
- Do not describe the board as manufactured unless a fabrication/test record exists.
